NCERT Solutions Class 12 Physics Chapter 1 Electric Charges and Fields

NCERT Solutions Class 12 Physics Chapter 1 Electric Charges and Fields is an essential class 12 chapter. For complete preparation for the CBSE board exams, one must go through our detailed NCERT Solutions.

NCERT Solutions Class 12 is based on the most recent CBSE syllabus. It is designed in great detail, and all of the important concepts are covered, including:

Electric charges and fields - There are two types of electric charges: positive and negative charges. Like charges repel one another, while unlike charges attract one another. Positive charges are carried primarily by the positive part of the atom known as the proton, while negative charges are carried by the negative part known as the electron. When an atom has an unequal number of positive and negative charges, the atom is referred to as an ion. For larger objects, a negative charge means more electrons, whereas a positive charge means fewer electrons.

Conductors - Conductors are materials that allow electrons to flow very easily and are thus referred to as conductors. Metals, electrolytes, superconductors, semiconductors, plasmas, and some non-metallic substances, such as graphite, are examples of conductors. Some metallic conductors have conduction bands ranging from 1.59 * 10-8 to 6.30*107.

Insulators – Insulators are substances that do not conduct electricity. Insulators include wood, plastic, clothing, pure water, and so on.

Charging by induction - Charging by induction refers to the process of charging an object without touching it.

Coulomb's Law - The force of attraction or repulsion between two charges is directly proportional to the product of their charges and inversely proportional to the length of the distance between them, according to Coulomb's Law.

NCERT Solutions Class 12 Physics will help students learn and revise every concept thoroughly. The solution provided here has detailed answers to all kinds of queries.
